Want to gain 1000 Instagram followers in a month? Here are 8 Tips to get 1000 followers in one month! I created a #Bookstagram account during quarantine to share books I love, and connect with like minded individuals! However, as I gained more followers I started my own research on how to grow my Instagram…

Swimming Lessons: Poems – Book Review

In her first collection of poetry, Lili Reinhart, actor and mental health awareness advocate, explores the euphoric beginnings of young love, battling anxiety and depression in the face of fame, and the inevitable heartbreak that stems from passion.

The Alice Network- The Forgotten Women of The First World War

Today I am reviewing this month’s buddy read pick The Alice Network by Kate Quinn!Full disclosure, I LOVE historical fiction; it is my favourite genre. So I had really high hopes for this book; the story sounded really interesting and I loved that it included a strong female narrative. However, having completed the book, there was much left to be desired.

The Glass Hotel- Mandel Does It Again

My favourite read during quarantine has been Station Eleven By Emily St. John Mandel. Station Eleven is a timely novel (it is about the aftermath of a global pandemic), that explores the idea of what would become of civilization. The novel is beautifully written; Mandel is a master at seamlessly jumping timelines and POVs. In finishing this novel, I was eager to read more of her work- thats when I picked up The Glass Hotel with high hopes in it being as good as its predecessor. 4/5 Stars

Daisy Jones and The Six-The Need For Flawed Female Protagonists

Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid has been sitting in my ‘to be read’ pile for quite some time, not because I did not think I would enjoy it; rather, I tend to be apprehensive to hyped books. However this book was nothing short of wonderful! 4.75/5 Stars
